HOW CAN I PAY LATER ON THE WEBSITE?
i. Pick the item you want from oyato.ng
ii. Add it to your cart (You can add multiple item to your cart before checkout)
ii. Click on the cart icon located on the top right hand and then click checkout.
iii. Login to with your Oyato username and password.
iv. Check to make sure your delivery address is correct and accept the terms and conditions.
iv. Choose Oyato Pay Later and choose the number of instalments months you will like to pay.
v. Click confirm order, pay the your first instalment and your order will be shipped to you.
WHAT IS BUY NOW PAY LATER?
The OYATO Pay Later scheme allows you to spread the repayment for an item purchased on OYATO. Payments can be spread from 1-6 months at 0% interest. Your item is shipped after making your first instalment payment.
WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY?
The Oyato Buy Now Pay Later is open to all employed and self employed persons. In order to apply, you will need a valid Photo ID (Passport, Drivers licence, NIN etc) and a proof of employment. Please note that failure to supply these items will delay your order being fulfilled for OYATO Pay Later.
HOW MUCH INTEREST IS CHARGED FOR BUY NOW PAY LATER?
OYATO charges 0 per cent interest rate when you choose to spread your payments from 1-6 months.**
HOW CAN I CHECK HOW MUCH I AM OWING OYATO?
Go to your account section on the website and scroll down to Oyato Pay Later Report to see your repayment schedule and other relevant information.
WHY WAS MY PAY LATER REQUEST DENIED?
There could be a number of reasons for this. To ensure your application for Pay Later is approved without delay or issues, please ensure you supply all required information and documents as stated in the Online forms. All requests missing the required information will be denied.
CAN I PAY USING CASH ON DELIVERY?
OYATO Shopping does not offer cash on delivery for pay later at the moment. If this policy changes, we will advise accordingly.
WHEN DO I RECIEVE MY ORDERED ITEMS?
Items are delivered 24-48 hrs after the first instalment payment is received. The first payment can be made using our various payments methods available at checkout when you choose Pay Later.
WHO CAN ACCESS BUY NOW PAY LATER?
The OYATO buy now pay later repayment option is open to all. Please note that you must have a verifiable source of income, a bank account and also in employment (self employed or fully employed).
AM I REQUIRED TO PROVIDE ANY DOCUMENTATION?
Yes, you need a valid photo ID and proof of income (in some cases)
WHY DO YOU NEED MY BVN?
We need your BVN in order for us to complete our verification process. We also need this information to prevent fraudulent activities.
WHEN DO I MAKE THE REMAINING PAYMENTS AND HOW?
We run a very convenient and simple system. Repayments are usually 30 Days after first instalment payments are made. An email and text message will be sent to your registered addresses with payment link for repayments. This will be done one week prior to your second instalment payment.
DO I HAVE COMPLETE OWNERSHIP FOR AN ITEM NOT FULLY PAID FOR?
OYATO assumes ownership of item(s) not fully paid for and have the right to repossess the item upon default. This is bound by a legal document which will be executed at the point of delivery. Upon complete repayment, complete ownership of item(s) is assumed and a payment invoice issued.
CAN I PLACE 2 PAY LATER ORDER AT SAME TIME?
No, you need to complete your pay later payments before you can make an additional request for pay later.
AT WHAT POINT OF DEFAULT IS AN ITEM PURCHASED REPOSSESSED?
A first demand notice is issued upon the first 14 days of default and a final demand notice issued at exactly 30 days of default. The item is repossessed at this point.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE ITEM(s) REPOSSESSED?
Items repossessed are auctioned at our clearance market at a forced sale price.
*Please note that a 12% admin fee applies for all Oyato Pay Later purchases. The admin fee is added to you Oyato Pay Later monthly repayments.
